Approval links
One link. Your client says yes or no.
Clients don't want another portal to learn. They'll click a link, read one page, and press a button. Scopease approval links are built for exactly that, for the original scope and for every change after it.
What is a client approval link?
A client approval link is a private link where your client can review the scope or change request and approve it. In Scopease, the link lives on app.scopease.xyz and shows what's included, the price and the timeline on one page. The client can approve or decline with a note, and each decision is saved with a date and time.
What your client sees
01.
Open. A private link: app.scopease.xyz/a/…. Only your client's email can approve. They sign in with the email you set on the approval link.
02.
Review. The scope or change, its cost, its timeline, and what's included.
03.
Decide. Approve, or decline and leave a note. You're notified, and the decision is timestamped.
What you get
- A frozen baseline: the original scope your client approved, which doesn't quietly move.
- A timestamped record of every approval and decline, so "what did we agree?" takes seconds to answer.
- An invoice built from approved items only. Approved = billable.
- Decisions out of scattered WhatsApp and email threads.
Why not just ask for a "yes" over email?
You can, and plenty of freelancers do. It works until the thread hits 40 messages, the scope has three versions in three attachments, and nobody's sure which "sounds good" applied to which version. An approval link ties one decision to one exact version of the scope or change, with the price and timeline on the same page. For the full picture, read Scopease vs managing scope in email and Google Docs.
Approval links for scope and for change orders
The first link goes out with the original scope: deliverables, price, revision allowance. Once it's approved, that's your baseline. Every later request becomes a change order with its own link, measured against that baseline. It's the same flow every time, so your client only has to learn it once.

Approval link questions
Does my client need a Scopease account?
Only your client's email can approve. They sign in with the email you set on the approval link.
Can a client decline?
Yes. They can decline and leave a note. Declines are recorded and never reach the invoice.
Is an approval link a legal signature?
It's a timestamped record of your client's decision. Scopease doesn't provide legal advice. If you need a formally signed contract, use one alongside it.
Does Scopease collect payments from my clients?
No. Scopease locks scope, records every approved change, and builds the invoice from approved work. You collect payment your usual way. Razorpay is only used for your own Pro subscription.
